Poetic Justice Cabernet Sauvignon Lowrey Vineyard South View 2018

Poetic Justice Cabernet Sauvignon Lowrey Vineyard South View 2018

Herbaceous and floral, this wine pulls hyou in with hints of vanilla, white peppercorn, and pomegranate. It tastes juicy and dense with savory integrated tannins resembling cranberries.

Critical Acclaim

Emerging from the Upper Range Vineyard project, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetic Justice Lowrey Vineyard Southview offers some herbal, meaty, iron nuances as well as lots of dark black fruits, full-bodied richness, and both tannins and acidity. It has the fleshy, upfront, hedonistic style found in all these Justice releases, yet it still has balance as well as structure. Enjoy bottles over the coming two decades. This cuvée is 100% Cabernet that spent 20 months in two-thirds new French oak.

Soft and supple in dark chocolate, tree bark and rich layers of blue fruit, this powerfully built red is grippy and textured, with enviable length. Cedar, dried herb and sage make appearances along the way, adding to the complex sophistication of the palate. This big-boned wine could do with more aging; enjoy best 2028 through 2035.
